Trisha is leaving on a three-week break with her friends to Australia. She leaves for Singapore tonight en route to Sydney.
After visiting Sydney and Melbourne, she and her friends plan to chill out in Brisbane’s Gold Coast. Gold Coast is known for its sunny climate, beaches, expansive waterways and great nightlife. Says Trisha, “I have been to Australia only for my film shoots. I want to explore the country and Gold Coast is a dream destination.”
Trisha is giving herself a well-deserved break, after last year’s hectic shooting schedules for her Tamil and Telugu ventures. And last Christmas, she had back-to-back releases in Tamil and Telugu, which gave her a new high. “Abhiyum Nanum got me a lot of critical acclaim for my performance and King rocked at the box-office. It was a double treat for me and I have to celebrate,” says the actress with a smile.
On Christmas, Trisha went to Casino Theatre fully covered in a burqa, with only eye slits to watch King, her first film with Nagurjana, her favourite actor from childhood. Says Trisha, “There’s nothing like watching a movie with an audience, first day first show.”

Will Trisha bump into Paris Hilton who is also holidaying in the Gold Coast? The actress says she would love to meet Hilton. She will be back by January 25, as she has to shoot the last song for Vishnuvardhan’s Sarwam with Arya, most likely in India's equivalent of the Gold Coast - Goa
