Srinivas Avasarala is an Indian script-writer, director and actor.  Srinivas Avasarala mechanical engineer by qualification working for Princeton University.He also done a screenwriting diploma and other film related courses. As far as my parents are concerned, as a part of his job, my father used to travel a lot and I have had the opportunity to travel with him. I have spent most of my life in Hyderabad and a few years in Vijayawada, Vizag, Kakinada, New Delhi, Chennai and Kolkata. Originally from Hyderabad.

Srinivas has a Masters in Mechanical Engineering with focus on Finite Element Analysis and worked for Princeton Plasma Physics Laboratory. He had done a screenwriting diploma at UCLA and then took acting classes for a year at Lee Strasberg Theatre and Film Institute, New York City. He did some theatre in New York and then worked as an assistant director for a film called Blind Ambition. He also worked at the Universal Studios as a script screener.

He like K Viswanath garu. And in Hollywood I like Sidney Lumet’s and Martin Scorcese’s movies. He also like to see Fred Astaire, Al Pacino and Daniel Day Lewis on screen. He made his debut in the film Ashta Chamma. He helped in writing few scenes in the film. He has worked in many Telugu films like Mugguru, Pilla Zamindar, Vara Prasad Potti Prasad. He will be directing a Telugu romantic-comedy with Naga Shourya as the lead.
