Venkatesh to play Lord Krishna?

Venkatesh seems to be enjoying doing Telugu remakes of multi-starrer Bollywood films. After playing Ajay Devgn's role in Masal (Telugu remake of Bol Bachchan), the actor is now getting ready to step into the shoes of another Bollywood superstar, Akshay Kumar.

Buzz is that Venky has agreed to be a part of Telugu remake of last years hit comedy Oh My God. Jayanth C Paranee is directing the movie to be produced by Rama Naidu. It is learnt that Jayanth approached Venky with the proposal of playing Akshay Kumar's role.

Akshay played Lord Krishna's character in the movie. So looks like Venkatesh is all set to wear the grease paint once again to play a God onscreen. Not sure if he ever did something like that onscreen before.
