Jr NTR hurt in mishap
Actor Jr NTR was injured when safari in which he was returning home overturned at Mo-thy village near Suryapet, about 130 km from here late on Thursday night. He was being rushed to a hospital in the city after being administered first aid. His actor-friend, Rajiv Kanakala, was also injured.
A TD spokesperson, Mr L.V.S.R.K. Prasad told this newspaper that Jr NTR had sustained injuries on his head and suffered broken ribs. Reports said Jr NTR was driving the vehicle. He was returning from a highly successful campaign in north Andhra.
The Mothy inspector, Mr Mohd Iqbal, said the convoy had left the place by the time police reached the sport. The vehicle that had overturned had no number plate, he said.
