Kadhija, the pretty little daughter of Rahman, was shy to talk but told Sify.com that she is proud of her dad and is 90 per cent sure that he will win the first Oscar for India.

Rahman who is busy at his studio in Chennai was conspicuous by his absence at the premiere. He is currently mixing the music of Delhi 6.

Rahman’s mother Kareema Begum was the cynosure of all eyes on the red carpet at the Chennai premiere of Slumdog Millionaire held at Sathyam Cinemas on Thursday night. She came with her two daughters and Rahman’s daughter Kadhija.
