Cinematographer Sundarnath Suvarna Died
Kannada Cinema top cinematographer Sundarnath Suvarna, who was suffering from cancer from past few days, died today (December 10). He breathed his last at his residence in Hanumanth Nagar, Bangalore. Sundarnath Suvarna made his debut as cinematographer with Apooropada Athithi starred Kashinath in the lead role.
Sundarnath has worked as a cinematographer in more than 150 film in Kannada. Agni Parva, Sri Manjunatha, Mussanje Mathu, Chelaata, Amruthavarshini, Anuraga Sangama, Nammoora Mandara Hoove, Indradanush, Rajakiya, Thamassu, Anjadiru were few famous movies, which had the amazing camera work of Sundarnath.
Sundarnath was the most wanted cinematographer in the 80s and 90s. He was felicitated with Rajyotsava award this year (2013). Apart from cinematography he had also directed the movies like Agni Parva, Nee Nanna Daiva, Tiger Gangu, and Khiladi Thatha, and produced the movies like Arambha, Halliyaadarenu Shiva starring Kumar Govind in the lead role.
