Village lo Vinayakudu Telugu Movie Review

Rating : 3 / 5
Star Cast : Krishunudu, Sharanya Mohan, Yandamuri Veerendra Nath, Rao Ramesh, etc. Music: Manikant Khadri, Cinematography: Rams Editing: Marthand K Venkatesh
Directed by : Saikiran Adivi
Produced by : Mahi

Analysis :

The movie begins with a feel good factor with the titles itself which came out really well. The director should be appreciated for making a good movie with low budget and not so familiar actors. First half of the movie has good comedy and songs came out really well. The movie has a simple narration with no interval bangs and twists. The real story of the movie begins in the second half with good comedy and focus on relationships. The second half could have been more better with tight screenplay and a bit faster narration. The village locations were picturised perfectly and would enthrall the audience. Music was good by Manikant Khadri. Editing and Cinematography were pretty decent. The father daughter relation scenes at times makes us correlate with Nuvve Nuvve movie which had similar sequences.

Story :

Karthik (Krishnudu) is a kindergarten teacher in Hyderabad and is in love Kavya (Sharanya) who is pursuing medicine. Kavya's dad Colonel Laxmipathi (Rao Ramesh) is settled in a village in East Godavari along with his family members. Kavya finishes medicine and returns to her village to attend her cousin's engagement. She plans to tell her dad about her love with Karthik as her dad starts searching for a suitable groom for Kavya with the help of his friend Bhaskar (Yandamuri Veerendranath). In the mean while Karthik comes to the village and tries convincing Kavya's father about their love. How Karthik impresses the family members and will Lakshmipathi accept to get his daughter married with Karthik or not is rest of the story.

Artists Performance :

Krishnudu - After Vinayakudu he again came with a brilliant performance. He was successful in justifying the title role. His dialogue delivery and the way he carried out his cool in the film were amazing.
Sharanya - Debutant heroine Sharanya acted well especially in scenes revolving with the father. Little more grooming will make her look more glamorous.
Rao Ramesh - Rao Ramesh stole the show with his performance as Lakshmipathi Raju. His expressions and dialogue delivery were apt and suited his role. Even his voice modulation was perfect and added value to the character of Lakshmipathi.
Yandamuri Veerendranath - At times few of his dialogues were expressionless. Otherwise his character as Bhasker was refreshing which was properly portrayed by him.

Highlights :
1) Characterisation of Krishnudu and Rao Ramesh.
2) Kona Seema locations and the farm house were amazing.
3) Karthik opposing the parody played on Ramayana is heart touching.
4) Back ground score of the movie was really good and brought life to many important scenes of the movie.

Scope for Improvement :
1) Screenplay at the end is a bit confusing which could have been handled better.
2) Sharanya could have been shown better in the first half when she is in Hyderabad.

Final Say : Its a clean movie which can be enjoyed with all family members. Village lo Vinayakudu is a must watch for people who love plain narration with subtle comedy without any twists and turns. The movie will go well with A centre audience, but may not be recieved well by mass audience.
